Serve the Church

The members and friends of Mystic Congregational Church are the heartbeat of the church. Through the generous offering of gifts of time, talent and treasure the church hums to life and spreads the good news of the gospel. All members are ministers in our Congregational Church.

Parish Care Team

The Parish Care team extends pastoral ministries to the members and friends of the church through a team of dedicated volunteers who provide a variety of comforts and temporary services. Through birthday cards to our members over 80, knitting and delivery of prayer shawls, cards to senior members and care packages to first year college students, they reach out to members to stay connected and offer support.

The Caregivers Support Group meets the First Monday of each month to support those who are caring for a loved one who has Dementia. The group is facilitated by a trained Aging and Memory Specialist.

The Meal Coordinator and Team are poised to coordinate meal preparation and delivery to those in need of a meal or two or ten to get through following a stay at the hospital, after a child is born, or in the midst of your caretaking of loved ones that may have you stretched too thin.

The Transportation Coordinator will assist if you need a ride to or from an appointment or home from a procedure.

The Prayer Chain is made up of members committed to confidentially praying for members of our church.

Serve on a Committee

Many members find meaning in serving the church through a committee that enables them to share their gifts with the church. Whether you have a passion for baking, a gift for balancing budgets, a heart for connecting with the community, extending hospitality in worship, arranging flowers from your garden, or creating digital media, there is a place for you to delve deeper into the ministries of the church.
